About Our School
At Guardian Angels Catholic Elementary School, we are proud to be a welcoming school community in the heart of Waterdown where "Each Belongs". We provide a before and after school child care program as well as sports teams, a gold winning robotics club, and many other activities that keep the students engaged.
Guardian Angels Catholic Elementary School opened its door in 2001 and is located on Centre Road beside the beautiful St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Father Francis Noronha is the parish priest and he is actively involved in the Catholic education of our children. We look forward to working with all parents and guardians in order to improve student achievement and to further develop our faith journey.
At Guardian Angels we strive to allow every person to be fully alive and to reveal their goodness in a faith centred environment with Catholic values. We pray to God and to our guardian angels to give us the wisdom and grace needed in order to effectively perform our roles as parents, educators and students in the best interest of faith and community.
Our hard working team of staff members effectively collaborate in order to set high standards so that students can strive to meet and exceed their expectations.
We focus not only on the skills for material success, but also on the skills needed to live and grow spiritually in order to follow our Lord, Jesus Christ. He is, after all, the greatest teacher and role model and therefore everything we do revolves around the teachings of Jesus Christ. We strive to put others first and to make this world a better place.
