Hamilton-Wentworth Student Transportation Services Consortium has initiated a number of school bell time optimization studies in the last year to seek opportunities for transportation efficiencies and enhanced service levels. Adjusting school start and dismissal times creates opportunities for more sharing and tiering of school bus routes thereby reducing the overall number of school buses. This is also a measure that is intended to help mitigate the ongoing bus driver shortage issue.

Please find attached, Appendix A, the list of approved school bell times for the 2021/2022 school year for each school. The required time shift and the current bell times are also listed.
